I have been working in the communication sector since 2003 when, after an experience of about three years as an editor for Bluerating.com, a financial information website specialising in asset management, I started to collaborate with a pr agency specialising in the communication of companies operating in the asset management sector. Subsequently, I collaborated with several public relations agencies and followed the communication projects of investment banks, consultancy companies, asset management and insurance companies and private banks. I have had experience in the communication of listed companies and IPOs. Since 2012 I have been working as a freelancer and since 2013, I have been collaborating with marketude, managing the press relations of law firms, accountants and notary firms.
For my clients, I follow all press office activities: from the drafting of communication plans to the daily activities of media relations, which entail drafting and sending press releases, proposing comments and in-depth analysis on topics of their competence, reading newspapers on a daily basis to search for insights and topical issues related to the topics of their business to be conveyed to the media, both generalist and sector specific. When requested, I also arrange media training sessions to help them make their interaction with journalists more effective. For a trade association, I was in charge of coordinating activities related to the publication of the magazine for members for about two years, managing relations with individual authors and external suppliers (e.g., graphic designers and printers).

Sicilian by birth, I feel like a citizen of the world, and I love to travel, an activity that I consider fundamental to open my mindset and broaden my horizons. I have a predilection for big cities and, in Europe, London and Berlin are my favourite ones. Outside of Europe, my favourite trip is the on-the-road travel that I made in California, when with a friend we arrived in Los Angeles, stayed there for some days, and then reached San Francisco after visiting Death Valley, the Mojave Desert and Sequoia National Park.
I like reading a lot, with a predilection for contemporary authors. Among my favourite genres are detective and thriller books, especially those with a Nordic setting - despite my southern origins, in fact, I prefer the cold climate! I am also a movie and TV series fan and often enjoy binge watching evenings or weekends to escape from the weekly work routine.
I would like to get a cat, my favourite animal because I appreciate its independent nature and will eventually decide to do so. In the meantime, I often play with my neighbour's kitty, Ambrogina, who never misses a chance to enter my house when she finds the door or window open.
